ast night’s lamas class was pretty amazing. Shell and I got to see the labor rooms as well as an operating room where c-sections are performed. Along with getting a tour of the facilities, we also watched a movie that took you through the entire process. I’m not sure that I’ve ever seen an actual delivery before. It was amazing to say the least. I hope that I will be able to be strong for Shell during the entire delivery.

The best part about last night’s class was that a baby was born right while we were in the maternity ward. It was kind of neat, we walked out of an elevator and there was a person there showing his relatives his newborn baby. It was almost as if it were scripted :).

hell and I have our 3rd birthing class tomorrow (formerly know as Lamas)! The class has been very interesting and informative. So far, we’ve talked about breathing techniques, the birthing process and pain meds. During tomorrow’s class, we actually get a tour of the facilities, which we are looking forward to. It’s all finally starting to become reality.

hell and I had a great time last night playing poker with Tom and Kell. This was there first time playing however; both of them did very well. In fact, Shell and I were out before both of them :). Kell ended up taking home the prize of $5.00! I hope she doesn’t spend it all at one place ;). Check out the pictures from last night including a pic of Tom with his Royal Flush!

verybody had a great time at Shelly’s baby shower this past weekend. Shell and I made out like bandits. We pretty much got everything we need for the baby. Now all we need to do is set everything up and wait :).

his was definitely a great weekend for Rob. It was his birthday and he won poker for the first time. His victory brought him $45! Here are some pictures of his win including a picture where Liss is trying to get rid of him by hitting him in the head with a candelabrum! As I’ve said before, poker is a great family event ;).

oker night was a lot of fun. Toni (sp) and Jim were kind enough to invite all 13 of us over for some poker and dice. Everybody had a good time especially the two winners (Greg and Elissa). Liss took home $90 while Greg won $30. Go here for some great pics!

he whole family had a wonderful time celebrating the New Year. We all got together at the Rutger in east Utica. I hope that everybody has a happy, health and safe new year!
