‘m currently in the Pittsburgh Airport writing this post. You’ve gotta love how a lot of the airports are offering free WI-FI! Shell and I have a three hour lay over in Pitts and then we will be on our way to Vegas. We plan on getting up early tomorrow and heading for Zion NP. If all goes well, we should be in Vegas around 8:00 PST. If we’re not too tired we may end up walking the strip and possibly gambling a little bit :). Stay tuned for more news. I may or may not have an internet connection over the next couple of days. Can you image it, a geek like me without the net! Help me…I may go into withdrawal :).

Shell and I are going on vacation from 10/23-10/28. We going to fly into Vegas and then driving to Southern Utah to visit Bryce and Zion National Parks. Once we are done with Bryce and Zion we plan on heading back to Vegas. While in Vegas we are going to stay at the Excalibur. I plan on taking part in a Hold Em tournament however it all depends on how much the buy ins are for. We’re also going to go and see the Blue Man Group over at the Luxor. I’m sure that I’ll take a bunch of pics and have many stories when we get back. If you need to get a hold of either of us try calling our cell phone…

hell and I went on our yearly leaf peeping adventure yesterday. The foliage was great! Once I upload the pics you will be able to see the difference between this years foliage and last years. As expected, we had a great time. It was a little cold however; we had a lot of fun anyways.

hell and I are going on our annual leaf peeping trip this weekend. For the past three years or so we’ve gone to McCauley Mountain on Columbus Day. I hope that this year’s foliage is a little bit better then last year. For some reason last year’s foliage was almost gone when we went.

According to the New York State Fall Foliage report this weekend should be high peak!

f you’ve been to this site before, you’re probably wondering what happened to the old look and feel. Well, as a I said in an article on the old site, I was considering implementing a new design for RaianoFamily.com.

I’ve wanted to make this site more geared towards Family and Friends news and information. At the same time, I’d like to give web space to any family member or friend that would like their own site. As you can see along the right hand side, I’ve created a link to where I am going to have my own personal site. I know that both Tom and Jim would like to have some web space….

Over the next couple of days I will be editing this site and customizing the look/feel. For now I’m just using the default theme that comes with wordpress.
